LASTLY

FINALY they found matt, he was on the gathering with all the crowd, when he went to long with kira he told her that he had bringer gift from the broken people village. He brought her a special plant that makes BLUE! That was her 1st gift and her 2 gift was a man that was named Christopher, he had many scares on his face. After talking for a while Christopher takes out a band that was the same as hers and then she realizes that Christopher was his FATHER! after talking to her fader she start asking questions, H e told her that he lived on a better village now , kira ask him to stay but he told her that there was someone how wanted to kill him. After talking kira told her dad about her friend and also about Jameson and her dad told her that he is the one that try to kill him!!!! at the end kira start being the bad things her village FINALY she went to the broken people village and live with his dad.


"They were just people. But they are people like me, who were damaged. Who had been left to die? Who had been taken from our village to the field?"

This quote is very important because, she finally understands that is going on around her. After talking to her father she realizes that there are many people that are left apart people that is discriminated from the others in the village. Her father knows a lot and Kira now is learning, her world is a world that is controlled by power and the weeks are left apart. This show me that we always need to help others and don't left them apart because they are just like us and they need to be treated the same.



"Your defender Jamison? Her father touches his own scares face again. "Yes, he tried to find a place for me before. Jameson is the one who tried to kill me."(208)

This quote is the most important fought me because here Kira's father is telling her that her defender Jameson was the one that try to kill him, he was the reason her father wasn't there for Kira. He lies that the beast eat Kira father. I think that the village they live is all fake because there is people that only wants power and tries to kill people. I think that Kira's father did the right thing at hiding so he cannot be killed. This is an example of how he fought for what he wants.

 FINALY ant the end it all went right, I founded very interesting it gave me a lot of various and teachings because kira was a organ girl when in the worst moments she was always strong after everything she gave the best of her and that show me that we need to stand strong on everything fight for things that he want. also always in life there is like mountains that after having the worst days like the bottom of a mountain you then go out to the happiest moments in life. I learn to be grateful and always just myself. I love this book is very interesting and it shows you how to be a peter person. I recommend this book! And enjoy it like I did!

New Things?

Now many things had happened Kira has learn and discover new things she has her good friends and her own life. Kira when to see her friend matt but he hasn't been home in two days. Everyone is preparing for the gathering and Kira had all ready finish her singing robe. Kira is very weird of matt she has also heard Jo crying so she decides that she is going to visit Jo and make her companionship also Jameson like always is checking for her. After many days matt is stealing despaired kira saw matt family but matt wasn't there. In the gathering they introduce kira, jo and Thomas. At last they meet the male singer that will sing the songs.



"Suddenly Kira knew that although her own door was unlocked, she was not really free. Her life was limited to these things and this work."(153)
 Kira finally is realizing that on that world that she lives they don't have as much freedom like they shod. This quote is telling me that she in felling like a kind of an outsider, she is missing her home and her life after cominimg to the city. Now she is seeing everything from a different perspective.



"Do you know where he went? Kira asked, trying not to show how shocked she felt at the condition of these people."
This quote is telling me that there is a other world with other people, is like there are completely different from the people in the city. Kira is very surprise of how the people there is and she in trying to change, she saw the conditions of all the people and she felt bad. Now she is changing a lot. She is seeing hew things and also she is being stronger.
 

These few chapters that I had read had been very interesting I had connected a lot with what’s happening to Kira and around her. i connect with Kira because she is a very important girl and she is very strong like me, she has her friends and she also likes to learn. i had learn many things with this book I had teach me that there are worst thing I if and that we need to be grateful of what we have because there are many people that have less than us and tats way we all need to be grateful and be strong!

Storm!

In the book gathering blue by Lois Lowry, many things had happened. Now Kira has her house and she has work and also has friends. Everyday Jamson came to visit her and approve her work. Also she eats all nights with Thomas that lives right next to her. Each day she has going to visit Annabelle so she can teach Kira. In Annabelle house she has a garden full of flowers that have the different colors, but the only color that she cannot make is blue because Annabelle says that to make blue you need to go an look for a special flower that in not near. On a stormy Kira and Thomas saw that matt was going to hunt with the hunter and Kira touch her clothe and had a bad felling so she went to look for matt and took him out. She was very sacred that something might happen with him like it happened with her pa.

"She remembers that she had place the scrap of cloth there . She touch the fabric and felt tension, danger, and a warning from it."(Lowry,99)

This is a very important quite because it explains better how she is able to use her knowledge. What this quite is saying is that when she toches a fabric of a cloth she can feel and have like a advantages of what could happened if is good or bad. When she touch the fabric she felt tension at seeing matt with the hunters. I predict that this knowledge on her fingers will help er guide her in life.

"Sometimes I've been fearful on the oath, Kira told him. "The forest is so close all around." "There is nothing to be afraid of there."" I do fear beast,"she confessed." (Lowry,127)

Everybody fear something in their life's. Kira is afraid of the beast, in her community there are beast and hunters too. Her dad was a hunter but he died. I think thats the reason she fears them. I think that fear is an important message in this book. A connection that i have with Kira is fear because i fear to of many things but those fears are created so we can grow stronger .

Each chapter the book has been intresting. Now Kira is discovering and learning new thing.  She is learning many thing about colors and also flowers too . I connect this book to the giver because is like Kira is Jonas and Annabelle is the giver. Kira is fine with her new life the has new friends and she seems happy.

New Home!

In the book Gathering Blue by Lois Lowry now many things had happened. In the last chapter that I had read now Kira has her new guardian Jamison that will defend her from what the council of guardians says. After what the council of guardian had decide, Kira went to see matt that was waiting for her. Matt had save some things before they burned Kira´s house. Kira was staring a new life, she had a house and food and friend too. Also she had a work and now she was going to visit Annabelle. Annabelle teach Kiras mother and no that her mother did she was going to learn.




"She had always known shw would not marry-her twisted leg made it an imposibleility; she could never be a good wife, could never preform the many duties required- but certainly she could manage alone." (lowry,58)

In Kira society many people see Kira as a different person because of her twisted leg, many people discriminate her and think that she cannot do anything, the Council of Guardians see it that way. They think that Kira cannot take care of herself. Even she thinks that she cannot do what other do. kira may be very special but because she can see colors on a society were only a few have this gift.  Kira is different to all the society because she is stronger than other she faces more problems and that makes her stronger. But people don’t realize that and they think she doesn’t belong to the society. That is the differences that people just think they are normal were they don’t now haw different they are from each other.

"She was remenbering herself, very small, finding that her fingers had a kind of magic to them when she held the colored theads, seeing her mother´s astonishment and the look on the face of the guardian." (lowry,70)

  

Kira is a very special girl, I found very interesting this quote because you can understand that except that she has problems with her leg she has like a power that defines who she really is. when at visiting the guardians she always have her hands on her pockets and when she mention that she can see color and that her mother had teach her art the guardian had a strange face like it wasn’t normal the word "colors". I think that she will discover that she has a special kind of magic that will help her go throw all the problems she will face.


This last that I have read is becoming very interesting now there are more problems and how we star discovering new thing about Kira´s world and all around her. I have connected that one of the themes is pain and pleasure just like in the giver because you can see how Kira lives with her problem of her leg an she is discriminated she is look different from others while  the guardians that have more power and abuse their power.  This is very similar to the giver because also in Jonas community there is also abuse of power. I will keep reading to see what happens next.....

YOLO !

In the book gathering Blue by Lois Lowry, Kira had lost her mother and became an orphan. Her father never came back from the beasts; her mother had died of a unexpected sickness. Kira has a twisted leg but that didn’t affect her to keep going. After her mother died she went to the city to see the powerful Council of Guardians. In the way to the city many women start discriminating Kira, and telling her she doesn’t belong here. Then she went to see the guardians so they can decide whether she stays in the city or not. The guardians said that she cannot defend herself. And they appoint her a defense and now she didn’t have family neither home.

"As for Kira, she had no family, now. Nor any home. The cott she had shared with her mother had been burned. This was always done after sickness. The small structure, the only home Kira had ever known, was gone. (Lowry, 2)"

I my opinion what Lois Lowry was wrote in this quote haves a lot in common with purpose of live. What this quote is saying for me that everyone have problems their ups and downs in life, but not because they seem like the worst thing we are going to give up on our live and all the goals we have achieved. These up´s and down´s are what makes us stronger and gives us strength to be better each day. I connect this quote with my life because I learn a lot by giving all each day and always standing strong no matter what. 

 "He ignored her outburst. Or we will appoint a defender on your behalf. One of us will defend you, using our grater wisdom and experience. Take a moment to think about this, because your life may depend upon it Kira. (Lowry, 28)

In this quote I can understand that sometimes people that have more "power" don’t listen other like they shod. This is an example of how they don’t listen to what Kira says. The council of guardians thinks that because Kira is orphan and haves a twisted leg she cannot take care of herself. The difference between Kira and the Council of Guardians is that they think that having differences like kira doesn’t having family she is different from the other and treat her differently. But they don’t understand that she wants to keep on with her life and they cannot see it because they don’t listen to what other have to say.

I had learn one thing that have teach me a lot, the theme that I think is very important is that no matter how bad your life is going there is always a bright side to look. This have show me that "YOLO (you only live once)" and you need to take advantages of the things you have and look always to the bright side of the thing in live. I have enjoy a lot this few chapters and I predict that now that Kira have her own protector she will get very close to him and be good friends. And from now on Kira will star to learn new things and fight for what she wants. Nothing will stop her to get what she wants and to fight for her believes.
